Late Booking

A call came through at 10.30 one Thursday morning. A client had an important meeting with business associates and wanted a buffet lunch for 50 guests delivered at 12.30 that day. She had forgotten to book us!

I was not in the SMiLES kitchen, indeed I was 40 miles away.

A couple of quick phone calls later and I had some staff heading off to our suppliers and others making their way into the kitchen. I raced back to Brighouse in time to collect the completed platters of food and deliver them. The fact that the address was some 15 miles from our headquarters didn't prevent us from having the food set out for 12.30.

Happy client, job done.

No Kitchen

I contacted SMiLES Caterers to serve a hot buffet for 75 guests on their premises in Wakefield. The issue was that we didn’t have a kitchen on site and I was worried that it was going to be an impossible task.

No problem for SMiLES Caterers!

They had the facilities to transport a fully operational kitchen to our premises in Wakefield. I met up with them to give them the full requirements and they went away to begin making the necessary plans.

On the day, SMiLES arrived with chefs and waitresses who set the kitchen up and then greeted my guests with the hot buffet that I had ordered. Everything went well with lots of positive comments after the meal.

Once everyone had been fed they began clearing away, removing all the equipment with the minimum of disruption and leaving the premises just as they had found them. I was very happy with the food, it was delicious and I was impressed with how it had all gone so smoothly.

 I am looking forward to using SMiLES Caterers for my next event.
